Al Frankey: Manager, CrossCheck QA
I am fortunate enough to have accumulated over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry as an operator of retail, corporate and leisure food and beverage operations. For over twenty years, I served as a regional manager for TGI Friday’s and Sodexo. These past nine years I served as the Senior Director of Customer Service for Amtrak. While at Amtrak, I managed the development of the Amtrak Customer Experience (ACE) program and engineered processes and procedures designed to improve communication, service and financial efficiency. Most of my experience is in operations and financial management. As a result, I’ve developed skills and a passion for leveraging business intelligence to analyze operating trends and develop revenue generating and expense control strategies.
I come from a large family in southwestern Ohio and now live in Wilmington, Delaware with my beautiful wife, Marybeth and our two college age sons – a junior pursuing his degree in business and a freshman in Culinary School. We have an amazing daughter who lives in Ohio with her husband and two sons and a talented son in Minnesota, who is following in my foot-steps, working in the hospitality industry. I like to spend time with my family. We enjoy traveling and visited England, Wales, Ireland and Scotland last year. Earlier this year, we visited the American Southwest where we hiked in the Grand Canyon. We love the theater and enjoy visiting museums and other cultural attractions in Philadelphia, New York and Washington. The highlight of 2018 so far was seeing Hamilton on Broadway and Jim Gaffigan at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas.
