Al Frankey: Manager, CrossCheck QA
I am a leader in the hospitality industry with over 30 years of operational experience in restaurants, corporate dining, conference centers, and sports & leisure operations.
For over twenty years, I served as a regional manager for TGI Friday’s and Sodexo. I have been an associate of IHS for the past three years. Before IHS, for nine years, I served as the Senior Director of Customer Service at Amtrak. While at Amtrak, I managed the development of the Amtrak Customer Experience (ACE) program and engineered processes and procedures designed to improve communication, service, and financial efficiency. Most of my experience is in operations and financial management. As a result, I’ve developed skills and a passion for leveraging business intelligence to analyze operating trends and develop revenue-generating and expense control strategies.
I come from a large family in southwestern Ohio and now live in Wilmington, Delaware with my amazing wife, Beth.
Our incredible daughter, Amy lives and works in New York City with her husband and two sons. Our talented son, Alex is in Minnesota, establishing himself in property management. Our adventurous son, Matt, is a budding DJ and a senior in college pursuing his degree in Sports Management while our gifted son, Jeffrey, is a Pastry Chef at a popular Newport, RI dockside restaurant while attending Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI.
I enjoy spending time with family. We love the theater and enjoy visiting museums and other cultural attractions in Philadelphia, New York, and Washington. The highlight of 2021 so far has been Alex’s destination wedding in Austin, Texas where the themes ranged from Cowboy Formal to Black Tie. Beth and I enjoyed the Van Gogh Immersive Experience in Chicago and seeing Kathleen Madigan in a cozy, outdoor theater in rural Delaware.
